My Mission

My mission as a public health practitioner is to advance health equity, racial justice, and social justice by working alongside governments, healthcare systems, and health organizations to promote policies and programs that aim to prevent, protect against, and treat illness and injury while simultaneously addressing systemic and institutionalized racism and other barriers to wellness.

My Vision

I envision a world in which all people have the resources and tools necessary to live their healthiest lives, on their terms, without oppression or discrimination.

My Values

As a public health professional, I deeply value community and the impact it has on our health. I believe in the importance of science-backed and evidence-based decision-making. My work is grounded in anti-racist, anti-capitalist, and queer theory, as well as participatory scholarship and research.

My Creativity

I am a dreamer and visionary, often finding creative solutions to problems and imagining the best possible outcomes for communities. My innovation and creativity have helped me reach my goals, regardless of the challenges I have faced.
